Vintage African trade beads with coral and brass in a two-strand tribal necklace design. Boldly colored Venetian Millefiori glass trade beads, circulated in Africa since the early 20th century, contrast beautifully with chunky coral beads in a color more orange than red. Kankamba heishi beads in yellow and red, and dark red brown Prosser discs, with accents of African brass are intermingled with the artisan Venetian beads. A handmade solid brass toggle finishes the design, as the closure for the necklace. The two strands slightly overlap slightly when worn, one 17 and one 18 inches in length, truly a colorful statement necklace!
