Chunky Black African Necklace, Yellow, Krobo, Neutral, Striped Bone Beads, Black & White, Recycled Glass, Primitive Tribal Jewelry

Series of 3 large black and fluted black with mustard yellow Krobo focal beads, arranged with white striped bone beads. Adding color to the arangement, I have added chunky brown striped Krobo tubes, yellow and lime green and gray Krobo, and yellow ochre Indonesian melon beads for a rich but largely neutral color scheme. Krobo beads are recycled glass, often referred to as powder glass, from Ghana, handmade and hand painted by African artisans. I have used brass and mixed metal caps and rings, with a textured dark oxidized brass rolo chain (8mm) to form the back portion of the design, accenting the blacks/browns in the color palette. An antiqued brass lobster clasp finishes the design for a total length of 21 inches.
