Natural Peruvian opal rounds are captivating in their pattern and range of blue and green color. Irresistible and somewhat rare, these beautiful stones are perfect for any season. I use artisan copper accent beads and toggle clasp that complement the tones in the opal stones, and solid copper bead caps. Between each copper cap, I use faceted carnelian rondelles that are also a contrasting shade of brown. Above the opal rounds, and knobby artisan bronze spacers, are smooth rondelles of orange aventurine, with tiny African brass spacers between each bead. A bit of textured copper rolo style chain at the back, and then the large and distinctive copper/bronze toggle clasp. The length of this choker necklace is 18 inches. Peruvian opals make a statement, even in the simplest of designs!
