Return of the Flower Children
Either you've heard about the 60s in movies and TV, or you may be old enough to remember that time of gypsy clothes, wild music, and change? Lots of color in everything; outdoor murals began to appear on fences and building exteriors. It was a time to re-examine our life styles and our goals. The "flower children" thought that love could conquer everything and war was evil. Where are all those flower children now? Flowers will always represent the natural beauty in life that we all would like to focus on again. So let's do it!

We can focus on what is positive and reaffirming, and we can reject the notion that violence and division are the only future. Choose to see the beauty and the wonder in being a creation of a loving God, not the result of a random anomaly in space. Remember purpose and accountability. There is a reason why we are here.
Flowers are a symbol of earth's natural beauty, and also the symbol for our collective power.
This is the time of year for rejoicing! Be happy. Seek the truth. Listen to your instincts.
